Warm up with this rich and creamy slow cooker hot chocolate, made effortlessly in your Instant Pot. This comforting drink will surely be a family favourite, perfect for cozy fall and winter days.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups whole milk

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt


Instructions:

  1. Add Ingredients: Pour the milk and heavy cream into the Instant Pot. Add the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Mix: Whisk everything together until well combined.

  3. Slow Cook: Set the Instant Pot to the slow cooker mode on "Low" for 2 hours. Stir occasionally to ensure the chocolate melts evenly.

  4. Finish: After 2 hours, stir in the vanilla extract. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

  5. Serve: If desired, put the hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows.
