Korean Beef Bowls

Ingredients:
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
Two teaspoons sesame oil
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or more to taste
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
One tablespoon vegetable oil
Three cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
Two green onions, thinly sliced
¼ teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Sauce:
Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ground ginger in a small bowluntil well combined. Set aside. 2. Cook the Beef:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, crumbling the meat as it cooks. Drain excess fat. 3. Combine and Cook:
Pour the sauce mixture over the browned beef and continue to cook until heated through about 2 minutes.
4. Serve:
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately over rice.
