Cooking Time: 50-55 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 5-10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar

  • Three tablespoons (22g) of unsweetened cocoa powder

  • Two large eggs

  • 1 (5 ounce / 150ml) can evaporated milk

  • 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, melted

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  1. Prepare the filling:

  3. Bake the pie:

    • Place the pie on the middle rack of your preheated oven.

    • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set around the edges but still slightly jiggly in the center.

  4. Cool the pie:

  5. Serve:

    • You can serve the pie at room temperature or chilled, with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
